Kurukshetra----Our Mind!!!!

If we sit and observe the thoughts going in our mind we will find they are mostly conflicting thoughts. The war of kurukshetra is happening at a subtle level within our minds. The characters of Mahabaharata can also be found within ourselves. The blind king Drithirashtra represents the mind which refuses to see things right. This state of mind pollutes the mind to a very great extent. Sadhana helps and guides us to recognize the righteous and unrighteous thoughts in our mind.
It is indeed impossible to remove the ego that is there in us.There is of course no use trying to remove and no need to remove ego, just let it be there in a corner. If we are aware that ego is working that itself is half the bridge crossed, I would believe. Most of the time we are unaware of our acts, our deeds, our words.
Ego is lack of right knowledge is what the Greats tell us all the time.So the right approach would be to increase our awareness, increase knowledge and most importantly to live the knowledge.Just reading or listening to lectures cannot be considered knowledge.Knowledge is when we put to use what we have read or listened to.This is also referred to as 'living the knowledge'.
When we begin to live the knowledge there is surely Love in the hearts for one and all and when we also see 'THE DIVINE' in one and all.
Enjoying the beauty of nature, the chirping of birds, the vast sky,the clouds, the rain, the sun, the clouds and every little thing that nature has to offer takes us closer to 'The Divine' and fills our hearts with love.
Let us get the Drithirashtra in us out and strive to see the Divine in All.

Jai Guru dev!!
